I was at my church Sunday morning and the worship team begun to sing the following song. As I sang and followed the words on the overhead projector, It was like the Lord said, “Pray this over Slovenia.” The song is “Did you feel the mountains tremble?”, by Delirious, a British Christian worship band.

Did you feel the mountains tremble? Did you hear the oceans roar? When the people rose to sing of Jesus Christ the risen one
And we can see that God you’re moving A mighty river through the nations And young and old will turn to Jesus Fling wide your heavenly gates Prepare the way of the risen Lord
Open up the doors and let the music play Let the streets resound with singing Songs that bring Your hope Songs that bring Your joy Dancers who dance upon injustice
Did you feel the darkness tremble? When all the saints join in one song And all the streams flow as one river To wash away our brokenness
And here we see that God you’re moving A time of Jubilee is coming When young and old return to Jesus Fling wide Your heavenly gates Prepare the way of the risen Lord

1) May the people of Slovenia rise up and sing to the risen Christ. Jesus rose from the grave to bring salvation to all. We can apply Romans 8:19-21 here in regards to the mountains trembling and the oceans roaring when the people come to know the Creator. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Let us bless the Lord with the following scripture; Psalm 96: 9 Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. 2) Lord, You are moving through the nations like a river. Slovenia is one of the nations so the “knowledge of the glory of the Lord” is promised to move there also. Habakkuk 2: 14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea. Then may all Slovenians be awe-struck by God’s glory and the young and the old will turn to Jesus. Psalms 24: 7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. May the Slovenians prepare their hearts for the Lord to come in His glory. 3) May the Slovenian Christians open their doors to the their communities and let the Joyful sound fill the streets. May the sound of hope and joy come forth from the churches. May this hope fill the streets with dancing, corruption turned to conviction, and Slovenians will fall on their faces before the risen Lord. Lord let joy spring up in the Slovenian churches to the point that they cannot hold it to themselves. 4) Oh, Lord we desire to see the darkness shake and be dispelled from the land. As we join in “one song”, in unity the lift up the risen Lord. Flowing together with one purpose to see our Lord bring healing to the people of Slovenia. Lord do a work in the hearts of the pastors so they will desire to walk in unity. In John 17:20-21 Jesus prayed, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 5) Look around in Slovenia; God is moving. Let us believe that the time is coming for a great celebration and jubilee in the families, the market place, the churches, the government, and all areas of Slovenian society. There will be unity among the generations. The gates of every heart will be opened and the people will know the risen Lord. 6) Let us believe for a great revival in Slovenia. Let us cast away all doubt because His glory will come if we pray believing.
